Encounter South Africa Tasting returns to London
The last five years have not been easy as having just about recovered from a three-year drought, the South African wine industry was hit by COVID restrictions including a ban on alcohol production in 2020 and then again in 2021. However, the strength and resilience of South African producers prevails, and the quality of wines on show was better than ever.
Producers and wine houses were on hand to present their wines and included: Glenelly Estate, Waterford Estate, Bouchard Finlayson, Ernie Els Winery, Aaldering Vineyards & Wines, Ridgeback Wines, Thelema Mountain Vineyards, Alto Wine Estate, Muratie, Stellenbosch Vineyards , Frans K Smit, Oldenburg Vineyards, Spier Wine Farm.
