Borsa Vini London 2022 – Italian Trade Tasting

After two years The Italian Trade Agency London (ITA) presented Borsa Vini again as an in-person event on the 10th of May in London. This year brought together 50 specialist producers that came from all over Italy to showcase some of their best wines and drinks. The 2022 edition was held at Landing 42 – the 42nd floor in London’s Cheesegrater Building, the city’s highest event space.

With the worst of the pandemic hopefully now past, the Italian Trade Agency seems keen to make up for lost time. Giovanni Sacchi, Director of ITA, introduced the event by saying: “With an increasing demand for Italian wines all over the world, Borsa Vini could not come back at a better time. We are very excited to bring some of the best names from Italy to the trade in the UK. We hope this will encourage new business partnerships and bring new opportunities to this country.“

Representing 16 different wine making regions, all 50 producers were showcasing really well made, attractive wines.  There was a real feeling of heritage and enjoyment here, and the individualistic Italian vini culture, combined with the different DOCs made for a reaffirming tasting experience.
